Barbara Hannah Grufferman, a nationally recognized expert on healthy and positive aging is the author of “The Best of Everything After 50: The Experts’ Guide to Style, Sex, Health, Money and More,” the best-selling resource book for women. She writes weekly columns for Huffington Post and AARP and is the Positive Living Editor for GLOW Beauty Magazine.
Barbara has a video series on the AARP YouTube Channel called “The Best of Everything After 50″ which focuses on fitness, health, nutrition, style, sex and everything in between.
Barbara has appeared on the Today Show, Good Morning America Health, CBS’ The Early Show and numerous radio and internet programs, including NPR, Dr. Oz Sirius Radio on the Oprah Channel, and Sirius Doctor Radio. She is a recipient of the Generations of Strength Award from the National Osteoporosis Foundation, the country’s leading voice and source of information about osteoporosis and low bone density. NOF recently invited Barbara to serve as the first Ambassador for Bone Health to help highlight initiatives and raise awareness about the importance of bone health . . . no matter what our age.
An avid runner, knitter, and fan of all things made with peanut butter, she lives in Manhattan with her husband, two daughters, and a rescued dog.
