The-Best-of-Everything-After-50-logoAfter age 40 we start to lose some of that “cat-like” balance we used to have. At the same time, we can lose about 1% of muscle mass and bone density every year after 50. And for sure, all of this speeds up a bit once women go through menopause.

According to the National Osteoporosis Foundation, bones that lose density have a greater chance of succumbing to osteoporosis, and having osteoporosis is a the #1 biggest risk for breaking a bone if we fall.

Here’s a short video to talk you through the importance of balance, and how to stay steady on our feet . . . for the rest of our lives!

And remember this: We can’t control getting older . . . but . . . we can control how we do it! Yay!
